Each unit of blood donated represents a life saved, a community strengthened, a family uplifted, and a future renewed. This selfless act reverberates far beyond the recipient, reminding us of the power of human kindness and shared responsibility.
Through the Social Service Club, the college has embraced the noble cause of blood donation, in collaboration with Surya Blood Center, a unit of the Telangana Development Committee, on World Parkinson’s Day - 11thApril 2025. With seamless coordination and meticulous planning of the faculty and students, the drive unfolded smoothly, ensuring donors moved through each phase with ease and comfort. The process began with comprehensive health screenings to ensure donor safety, vital parameters like blood pressure, haematocrit levels, and body weight were carefully recorded. Blood collection was conducted under stringent sterile conditions by trained medical professionals, ensuring the highest standards of care.
Donors were then offered nutritious refreshments and guided to rest areas to recuperate, ensuring a safe and supportive experience. Donors with low haematocrit levels, indicating possible anaemia, were kindly advised to refrain from donating—reflecting the camp's deep commitment to ethical and healthconscious practices.Each drop of donated blood became a symbol of hope, healing, and humanity. Institution’s initiation prepares students to excel in their fields and emerge as compassionate global citizens, ready to make meaningful contributions to the society.
