Christmas, celebrated globally since the 4th century under Emperor Constantine, honours the birth of Jesus Christ, a symbol of hope, love, and renewal. Amidst the winter’s chill, the college campus blossomed with warmth and cheer as the Cultural Club Aroop celebrated Christmas and the arrival of the New Year on 31st December, 2025.
The celebration kicked off with traditional Christmas carols that echoed through the halls, invoking a sense of nostalgia and joy. Following the carols, the audience was treated to vibrant dance performances by students, showcasing creativity and enthusiasm. A touching skit on the life of Jesus was performed, beautifully narrating his journey and teachings, reminding us all of the deeper significance of Christmas beyond the festivities. The story was brought to life with passion and reverence, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
Adding a sprinkle of magic, Santa Claus made a surprise visit, distributing chocolates to the faculty and students alike, spreading happiness and festive cheer. The joyous occasion was crowned with a cake-cutting ceremony that symbolised togetherness and celebration. This dual celebration was a perfect blend of tradition, culture and youthful energy, creating memories that will be cherished for years to come. Over 350 students participated with enthusiasm, displaying their talents across multiple events.
